General Rules and Obligations
Tournament Contract - Nueva Vista Golf Club requires a signed tournament contract to secure the tournament date.
Payment – Final invoicing is issued the day of the event, and payment is expected at that time. The Par Package requires pre-payment five days prior to the date of the event.
Player Counts and Names - A final minimum player count is required five days prior to the event. Also, a maximum player count may be required if additional carts are necessary to accommodate additional players. Names of all participants are required three days prior to the event (changes are normal and may be made right up to starting time).
Tournament Prizes - Tournament prizes will be in the form of trophies, golf shop credit from the Nueva Vista Golf Shop, or golf merchandise purchased from the Nueva Vista Golf Shop. No cash prizes or golf-related merchandise prizes from any other source are permitted. Gift items that are donated with logos from sponsoring companies may be acceptable. Check with the Head Golf Professional prior to the event for approval.
Inclement Weather – The tournament will be played as scheduled in inclement weather unless the course is deemed unplayable by the Management of Nueva Vista Golf Club.
Dress Code and Conduct – Nueva Vista Golf Club’s dress code must be adhered to at all times by players on the course. Our dress code policy is listed in the Facility section of our web site. The tournament organizer and organization is responsible for the conduct of all participating players, and is responsible for all damage to the course, clubhouse or any equipment.
Food and Beverage – Nueva Vista Grill is equipped for all your food and beverage needs for events of any size. All beverages (including soft drinks) must be purchased from Nueva Vista Golf Club in accordance with all state and local health and liquor regulations. No personal coolers or alcoholic beverages may be brought onto Nueva Vista Golf Club property before, during or after the event. Violators will be asked to vacate the premises. The tournament does have the option of having the event catered by an outside entity, but additional fees are required for not including our on-site restaurant. See the menu section for more details.
Tax Exempt Groups - Tax will be charged to all organizations and groups unless Nueva Vista Golf Club is provided a completed tax exemption certificate. A copy of this certificate can be found and printed HERE. Please note that a tax I.D. number does not identify your group as tax exempt. Only a completed and signed tax exemption certificate allows us to remove tax from your final invoice. If food is purchased from Nueva Vista Grill, another tax exemption certificate will be required for them as well.
Miscellaneous – Each player must play with his own set of golf clubs. We do have rental sets available. All players will play in foursomes unless otherwise directed by the pro shop.
